IHG and MasterCard bring you "Priceless Experiences"
Last week, I wrote about IHG's Fall 2017 "Accelerate" promotion. This week brings an additional promotion in partnership with MasterCard - "Priceless Experiences." You must register before you can participate, after which you are presented with the following details, which are pretty straightfoward:
Earn a Mastercard Reward Card up to $100
Receive a Mastercard Reward Card up to $100 when you complete two separate stays at any IHG hotel, where at least one stay is for two or more nights. To qualify, you must book direct and pay with a Mastercard.
If at least one stay is completed at an InterContinental Hotel: $100
If at least one stay is completed at a Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, or Even Hotel: $75
If at least one stay is completed at a Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Holiday Inn Resort, Holiday Inn Express, Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites or Hualuxe Hotel: $50
After you complete the requirements for the reward card, you can earn an additional "4,000 IHG Rewards Club Bonus Points" after you stay two additional nights that are booked direct with IHG and paid with a MasterCard. The promotion runs between November 1, 2017 and February 1, 2018.
This promotion dovetails perfectly with my "Accelerate" offer. In fact, after writing my post on "Accelerate," I booked two one-night stays to satisfy two of promotion's tasks. While $50 - my bookings are both at Holiday Inn Express properties - is not a large enough incentive to make me significantly go out of my way to stay with IHG, as a add-on to existing travel plans, I will gladly take it. Then the "Priceless Experiences" terms hit me - one of the stays has to be for at least two nights. Oh well. The good news is that this promotion runs until early next year so any trips I may take over Christmas or during January could bring in a reward card or even additional IHG Rewards points. It's free to register so why not sign up just in case!
Did you register for "Priceless Experiences?" How well does it mesh with your "Accelerate" tasks? Let us know!
