The tagline for New Orleans, LA may be more fitting of its city than any other that comes to mind. Last month, I enjoyed my regular March visit to the Crescent City. For several years now, I have met a friend on a March weekend in New Orleans. These visits invariably consist of enjoying the culinary delights of the city. A couple of years ago, when we were planning our weekend, my friend and I kept reviewing various restaurants we wanted to check out. I asked him if we were going to do anything other than eat and he replied, "No!" As a lover of Cajun and Creole food, I can't think of another city where I simply could go to do nothing more than eat. But we do find other things to enjoy in the city that don't result in busting my diet!

Having gone multiple years now, our trips are a mix of tried and true favorites as well as new explorations. Over the coming week, I will share the highlights of this trip and my reviews of both those old favorites and the new discoveries! And they aren't all restaurants either! I am sure it will have me counting the days to my next trip to NOLA and will hopefully inspire you to visit as well!
