Marriott will soon add two upscale Atlanta hotels to its roster of top tier properties. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that the TWELVE Atlantic Station Hotel and the TWELVE Centennial Park Hotel will be acquired by an investor group, receive $5 million in renovations, and converted to Marriott Autograph Collection properties.

A local venture between Global Management & Investment and Compass Real Estate recently bought TWELVE Atlantic Station Hotel, the 26-story high-rise that opened about a decade ago in the well-known mixed-use project overlooking the Connector. The partnership also bought TWELVE Centennial Park Hotel.

The all-suites hotels offer prime locations in midtown and downtown Atlanta, respectively. TWELVE Atlantic Station is located in the Atlantic Station mixed-use development, minutes from shopping and arts and entertainment destinations like the Fox Theatre and Woodruff Arts Center. TWELVE Centennial Park is located adjacent to several major Atlanta attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and the College Football Hall of Fame. Philips Arena is just blocks away

The Marriott Autograph Collection features an "ensemble of strikingly independent hotels" and all properties offer all the Marriott Rewards loyalty program. For those looking for a boutique hotel experience in the heart of Atlanta but with all the perks and benefits of a major hotel chain loyalty program, the TWELVE properties will soon fit the bill.
