As we approach the end of 2015, many of you will be hitting the road for Christmas travel. Perhaps you are visiting family and friends. Some of you may be headed to Disney World. Some - though not us Georgia Tech fans :( - may be following your team to a college football bowl game. If your travels include a hotel stay, you will want to be aware of some Christmas bonuses that you may be able to earn. This is not an exhaustive list, just a couple from chains with which I have significant point balances.

The bonus is "to thank you for all the valuable insights you’ve shared online this year." Simply register and complete a stay at any Starwood property by December 31, 2015 and the 2,015 Starpoints are yours! You will need to book your stay directly with Starwood. This will be a nice sweetener if I can complete the lone stay I need to earn SPG Preferred Gold in 2016! Don't forget that you can earn an additional 2x Starpoints if you pay for your room with the American Express Starwood Preferred Guest credit card!

Hilton HHonors is offering 2,500 bonus points for every two-night stay by December 31, 2015

Hilton HHonors is offering 2,500 bonus points for every two-nights or more stay before December 31, 2015. Such a per-stay offer would be a strong incentive to book multiple stays on a trip rather than more than two nights at a single location. Simply register before checking out of the hotel on your first stay and you will pick up the bonus points!
