Delta adding service from Minneapolis to Reykjavik, Iceland
Delta will begin Minneapolis-Reykjavik service in May 2016
Delta Air Lines announced today a new flight from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to Iceland's Reykjavik International Airport. The seasonal service, operated with a Boeing 757-200ER, will commence May 26, 2016. This represents Delta's second US destination from Iceland and the fifth European destination for the airline out of its Twin Cities hub.

“Reykjavik will be Delta’s fifth destination in Europe from Minneapolis-St. Paul. Delta recently announced service from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Rome and also operates flights to Amsterdam, London, Paris and Tokyo-Narita. Reykjavik service will be operated in conjunction with Delta’s joint venture partners Air France, KLM and Alitalia using a 199-seat Boeing 757-200ER aircraft. The aircraft offers 20 seats in the premium cabin as well as 29 in Delta Comfort+ and 150 in Main Cabin. ”
