IHG releases latest PointBreaks hotel list

IHG has released its latest PointBreaks hotel list for bookings through January 31, 2016

IHG has released the latest PointBreaks hotel list. This quarterly promotion makes reward nights available at certain properties for a mere 5,000 points per night! Given a value of $0.07 per IHG Reward point, that is only $35 per night! The list runs the gamut from basic hotels in small towns to higher-end properties overseas. While most of the properties are Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses, there are a handful of Crowne Plazas in the U.S. and globally. You can even take advantage of this promotion at the Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis. 

When the July list came out, I was able to book two nights in an executive suite at the Greensboro Coliseum Holiday Inn in Greensboro, NC for a total of 10,000 points. I have already completed one of these stays and the room was huge! (Unfortunately, I was sick that night and unable to enjoy my stay. I am hoping for a better visit on my second trip.) For effectively $35, it was an absolute steal.

The terms are pretty simple: you can only book "two PointBreaks Reward Nights reservations per hotel during the special offer time period" and bookings are valid through January 31, 2016. These reward rates are bookable now at IHG.com but, hurry, as the best properties book up fast!
